Each of our pub rooms is different, drawing inspiration from the neighbouring ancient woodland. The interiors preserve the heritage of the pub, blending seamlessly with all the modern comforts one would expect from the exceptional standards of a Daylesford Stays property. Twelve rooms sit above the pub and The Barn, including dog friendly rooms.
As the name suggests, some of our smaller rooms are perfect for couples, offering a cosy atmosphere. Filled with natural light, each room combines excellent mattresses, sumptuous bed linen and cloudlike pillows.
Our classic rooms are a combination of antique pieces sourced from around the world, bespoke and furniture reupholstered with vintage fabrics and the most comfortable super king size beds. Our Classic Barn rooms are dog friendly.
Our largest rooms are located in the oldest part of the 17th century pub, either overlooking Church Street or nestled in the eves. Each characterful room retains many of its original features. Super king size beds provide the utmost comfort.
Tucked away in the eves of the pub, our twin room features single four-poster beds with playful gingham checks. These exceptionally comfortable beds cocoon guests in the signature Daylesford palette of natural tones.
When restoring the fabric of the building, Daylesford’s in-house team of architects looked to its history. Original features have been sympathetically restored, and local and recycled materials were used for the construction to minimise impact on the environment.

Breads and bouquets available this Valentine’s weekend at our Bakery at The Bell.
This Saturday, make The Bell your first stop. Our horsebox will be in bloom with seasonal Daylesford bouquets, and stocked with award-winning sourdough, sweet pastries and fresh juices, alongside delicious coffee and a considered collection of Daylesford jams and honey.
