FOOD
Our modern British menu combines a selection of hearty pub classics with ingredient-led dishes that celebrate the flavours of seasonal produce. Ingredients come from local suppliers and growers as well as from Daylesford Organic, our sister farm.
This 17th century pub has always been a place for locals to gather, a well-loved coaching inn in which to dine and stable your horse for the night. The pub remains a welcoming place for the community, families and visitors to the area.
With crackling log fires, settle into comfortable nooks in the pub or join the bustling bar where youโll find familiar ales alongside pub classics.
DRINK
We serve familiar artisan beer, draught cider and hand-picked wine from independent vineyards.
Our bar forms the heart of the pub, crafted using ash from the Daylesford Estate. Large inglenook fires provide a welcoming place for families to play boardgames and dogs to curl beside, whilst our Snug is a quiet corner tucked away behind the bar.

The Nest room interiors are inspired by the beautiful burgundy embroidery on the linen curtains designed especially for us by the artist Sarah King. Look closely and you`ll see charming acorn, oak leaf and owl motifs.

For the design of our bedrooms we looked to talented local artisans and craftspeople, whose work of the hand can be seen in many of the details throughout our pub.
The antique bed in the Oak bedroom features a beautiful embroidered pelmet covered with nature-inspired motifs, which we think might date back as early as the seventeenth century.
Due to its age, the fabric required some restoration so our team enlisted the help of the incredibly talented Sarah King, who specialises in crewelwork embroidery. Sarah carefully refreshed and replicated all the little squirrels, dogs, flowers and birds - each using a unique blend of English-dyed wool matched to the original colours of the antique version.

When it came to restoring The Bell, it was important for us to preserve as much of the pubโs original character as possible.
Though sadly, over the years much of the building has been modernised meaning some qualities were lost, key structural elements are still in place.
Alongside the exposed Cotswold stone walls, all of the original fireplaces have been opened up, the original flag stone floor has been extended using reclaimed flags, and the charming Georgian architrave and panelling has been uncovered and restored throughout.
Don`t forget, bookings for both tables and bedrooms are now open via our website ahead of our official opening this Sunday ๐
