The Old English Fair – Bank Holiday Garden Party☀️
Join us at The Bell in Charlbury on Sunday 24th May from 12pm for a quintessential Bank Holiday afternoon spent in our garden.

Expect live music from local musicians throughout the day, alongside a joyful touch of English tradition with Morris dancers.

Our new garden menu will be in full swing, with stone‑baked pizzas, BBQ lobster and crayfish rolls, and burrata with fire‑roasted tomatoes, best enjoyed with spritzes, tequila cocktails by the jug, crisp beers, or rosé from the Léoube bar in the sunshine.

Families are warmly welcomed with garden games, face painting and space to play beneath the orchard trees, along with a few friendly competitions throughout the afternoon.

The Barn is our intimate, self-contained space, seating up to 28 guests, which opens onto a private terrace overlooking our orchard garden.

With a dedicated team and a wood-fired grill at its centre, it’s a considered setting for celebratory dinners, weddings and gatherings.

In the warmer months, our stretch tent sits quietly at the bottom of the garden, a more secluded spot for long, relaxed events.
