The Barn is a private dining room designed with gatherings in mind, serving abundant platters from the open wood-fired grill.

A striking wood-fired grill forms the centrepiece of The Barn.
Our feasting menus celebrate cooking over fire with ingredient-led dishes that showcase the flavours of seasonal produce. Ingredients come from local suppliers and growers as well as from our sister farm at Daylesford Organic.
AWAY DAYS
Alongside team meetings and corporate events, The Barn offers a range of activities to complement any occasion of company away days. From a bespoke workshop, to a tour of the Cotswolds, we would be delighted to work with you on creating a bespoke team getaway.
Combining comfort with exceptional attention to detail, each room is different, drawing inspiration from the neighbouring ancient woodland. Twelve bedrooms sit above the pub and The Barn, including a two-bedroom family room.
As the name suggests, some of our smaller rooms are perfect for couples, offering a cosy atmosphere. Each room combines excellent mattresses, sumptuous bed linen and cloudlike pillows.
Filled with natural light, our Roomy Doubles are a combination of antique pieces sourced from around the world, bespoke and antique furniture reupholstered with vintage fabrics and the most comfortable super king size beds.
Our largest rooms are located in the oldest part of the 17th century pub, either overlooking Church Street or nestled in the eves. Each characterful room retains many of its original features. Super king size beds provide the utmost comfort.

Splatter painting in The Barn 🤎 Yesterday we were joined by the wonderful Tess, who led an evening exploring the art of pottery decoration using playful splatter techniques.
A fun time was had by all, flicking paint, layering colours and getting to know one another over delicious sourdough pizzas and Daylesford Organic rosé frizzante.

Garden celebrations 🔔 A wonderful way to open the summer season with live music from @barneynewmanmusic, delicious food from our new garden grill, a showcase of homegrown flowers and vegetables, and fun for all the family.
We were joined by the brilliant Charlbury Morris dancers, local gardener extraordinaire @mfranklinmaiden and a pop up tasting bar from our sister estate Château @leoube.
